Went up to Kaikoura today. Amazing drive and amazing place. Mountains right to sound. Pretty cool to see the seals just chilling.
Bummed we couldn't ski because Mt Hutt never opened due to high winds. The clouds were amazing on the way home. They made me think of a paused view of the water from waves. They were very churned. Too much time in the car is making me a little restless, hopefully we can ski tomorrow.
Went out for our first night at a pub. Pomeroys, Gastropub.
Good lamb meat pie.
